The Challenge:

The company provides educational services through seminars, training and personal success coaching. Since their humble beginnings in 2001, the company today employs over 25 staff. With this rapid growth and expansion to become one of Australia’s largest Personal Success providers, it was essential for the business to have one system that could provide reliable reporting, remote access and real time updating.
The staff had been using ACT, MYOB and several Excel spreadsheets, and these disparate systems were not able to generate the advanced reports that were required to make confident business decisions. Cath Patrech, Director, also wanted a fast and easy way of sending out emails in large quantities, and have a link to the financial statistics of events.
In order to keep track of what was going on Cath needed business intelligence from synthesized information that could allow her to make executive decisions. The raw data in the numerous Excel spreadsheets was not going to help the business move forward.
The Solutions:
After conducting some research through Google searches, Cath found NetSuite. She also knew another business in the same industry that used this application and recommended it to her. NetSuite’s combination of hosted application and integrated business solution provided a great advantage for the business. “With seminars all over Australia, the staff can look up a client and easily add notes and update information straight away” says Cath.
Cath has found the email send out functionality of NetSuite easy to use, and has now set up a few other staff members with this task. “We can now market to clients and be provided with instant updates.”
The Results:
By using a hosted environment Success & You doesn’t have to worry about updating and managing computer systems and, because the Suite is browser-based, the team can access information from anywhere – important when the company is growing across Australia.
NetSuite allows the staff to generate reports that provide foresight and not just reveal history. Success & You can now focus on their future growth plans which include extending the seminars to Adelaide and Auckland.
