Professional Services Consultant

Job Description:

As a Professional Services Consultant (PSC) you will be responsible for managing clients in both pre and post sale environments. Working with the rest of the Professional Services Team, you will be responsible for assessing customer implementation, training and integration needs. You will develop innovative plans to solve their problems and implement these plans to the customer's satisfaction. Work will be done both locally and at our customers sites across the country.


Requirements:

  • You should have 3 to 7 years experience in systems applications consulting, either internally via an IT organisation or externally with a consulting firm or software provider.
  • Solid experience in Change Management and Business Process Mapping in support and / or in conjunction with a major IS initiative.
  • Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Accounting, Sales Force Management, Inventory Management and Support
  • Excellent client management skills to work with customers in executing an implementation plan
  • Degree or Masters in related field or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Experience with software in an ASP environment is a plus, as is previous consulting experience with the following applications: MYOB, QuickBooks, Great Plains, SalesForce.com, Upshot, ACT, Goldmine, MAS 90, Siebel, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards
  • Experience with Macintosh and Windows operating systems, XML, HTML, SQL & Java would be advantageous
