NetReturn launched into the Australian marketplace

In a step towards a closer relationship with part owner MYOB Limited, NetReturn - distributor of integrated business application, NetSuite - will now trade as NetReturn.

The re-branding as NetReturn, will increase MYOB’s visibility in the growing OnDemand application space, and provides even further impetus for online applications in the Australian market.

NetReturn is the exclusive distributor of the NetSuite range of integrated on-demand mid-market ERP, CRM and eCommerce solutions, in Australia and New Zealand. NetSuite is the global leader in providing hosted business management systems, with more than 5,000 customers worldwide.

MYOB Australia Managing Director Tim Reed stated, “We are very excited about the future of NetReturn. There is widespread acceptance that the online model is the future for many companies, particularly in the mid-market. As businesses grow, their needs change. Through this partnership we can provide an excellent solution for businesses challenged by multiple branches, a desire for integrated applications including eCommerce and for any mid-sized business that wants to focus on their business, not their IT infrastructure.”

NetReturn CEO, Andrew Birch, added “Just over 12 months ago, MYOB purchased a stake in NetReturn, on the basis of delivering an outstanding scalable mid-market solution for fast growing Australasian businesses. Today, I’m able to say that the relationship is flourishing, that we are seeing great growth, and even greater potential, in the Australian market place. With NetSuite we have the best online application available in the world, and by extending the support of MYOB we are bringing the integrated OnDemand model into mainstream Australasian business.”

NetSuite competes strongly against mid-market systems such as Microsoft Great Plains, SAP Business One and Sage AccPac. NetSuite excels through offering complete front-office to back-office integration and by delivering lower total cost of ownership (TCO). As a hosted OnDemand system, NetSuite eliminates the traditional time and cost of building and maintaining IT systems.
MYOB Australia Managing Director Tim Reed continued, “We’re very pleased to extend this relationship, as we have complementary offerings and see great opportunities together. With this growing partnership we are delivering an outstanding scalable mid-market solution for fast growing Australasian businesses.”

NetReturn has a rapidly growing customer base in Australia and New Zealand. MYOB has an option to acquire the remaining equity in NetReturn in either 2007 or 2008.

NetSuite is MYOB’s preferred mid-range OnDemand business management and CRM solution.

NetReturn is the sole Australian and New Zealand distributor of NetSuite, and Australia’s leading online service company.

IPL moves online with NetSuite to increase business growth.

Sydney, February 23, 2006—NetReturn, the sole distributor of NetSuite, the fastest-growing online application company in the world, has announced a major deal with leading Australian ICT Company, IPL Group.

The deal will see IPL move away from its legacy Citadel system onto NetSuite’s hosted application. Originally the deal is over three years and for 76 seats, one of the largest hosted application deals within Australia, however this is expected to increase.

The IPL Group was founded in 1982 to import and distribute computer peripheral products. Today it is comprised of two companies, in IPL Communications and Oki Printing Solutions. IPL Communications is a market leading value added distributor in the IP telephony market offering comprehensive integration capabilities and support to its resellers. Oki Printing Solutions is the only company to offer fifth generation colour technology and is a leader in digital colour printing, multifunction products and managed printing solutions.

NetSuite is the only on-demand application to offer complete front to back-office integration and competes strongly against traditional mid-market systems such as Microsoft Great Plains, SAP Business One and Sage AccPac. NetSuite's all-in-one business management application allows each user to work off the same, real-time information, but with a user interface and functionality appropriate to them. As a hosted on-demand system, NetSuite eliminates the traditional time and cost of building and maintaining IT infrastructure.

“We spent a long time evaluating all of our options and we certainly weren’t tied to an online solution” said IPL Group chief executive officer, Stead Denton. “However NetSuite exceeded our expectations in many areas. Their real-time dashboard feature allows us to monitor our business as it happens. In today’s business environment, the ability to make decisions based on instant and accurate data is a considerable advantage,” said Denton.

“I had a number of specific concerns,” said IPL Group Financial Controller, Graham Chan “Mainly around implementation and a realistic ROI timeframe. We also wanted to ensure there would be no extra charges or ongoing implementation and maintenance costs. With NetSuite we are able to complete a rapid implementation program and have no maintenance costs. NetSuite manages all of that for us. In terms of ROI, cost reductions in hardware and software expenditures are just the start. We expect to see great ROI in two main areas: cheaper up-front costs and elimination of redundant data entry,” said Chan.

“We are really looking forward to working with NetSuite and NetReturn,” said Stead Denton. “Being able to manage our prospects, sales forecasting and commissions on the same system as our ERP, inventory and eCommerce applications will enable our sales force and business to become even more productive. We don’t believe any other application could offer us the same level of functionality and integration,” he said.
