Karuna Foundation

The Karuna Foundation is a Sydney based charity and was founded by the NetReturn co-founder Phil Kiely and his wife Cathy, in April 2005. The Karuna Foundation improves the quality of life for children in developing countries by establishing partnerships with local organisations and creating community development plans through a joint effort.

Karuna is currently assisting the rural district of Varin in Cambodia, and have established the Kuruna Children’s Centre. Programs which have been undertaken in areas of education, food and health, have improved the quality of life for many young children. This centre is also having an amazing effect on the entire community of Varin, with separate shelters being constructed to house girls and boys, playing fields being created for sports, and toilet blocks made available.

NetReturn are proud sponsors of the Karuna Foundation. We have assisted with the development of their website and provided NetSuite licences to ensure it is easier and simpler to contribute donations online which will help in providing food, water, education and health care to the children and families living in the remote community of Varin.
